This blog is the newest version of Westbankblog. I left my old blog when Blogger forced us to change over, which included taking on a Google account and accepting their cookies.

Although my real name is Rachel BenDavid, I titled it West Bank Mama, because I found that a lot of people were searching for me using my blog name anyway.

Here I try to share my views on Israel and life in general, from the perspective of a mother living in a very controversial part of the world. Orthodox Jews call it by its Biblical name, the Shomron (Samaria). Others call it the “west bank” referring to the west bank of the Jordon river.

People searching for information about the westbank usually find articles and information that is biased against Israel. I try to share my experiences and views in this blog, and hopefully people reading this will see a more pro-Israel side of the story.
