Soldiers Speak Out

The mainstream media around the world, and the leftwing press in Israel, have persisted in portraying the Israeli soldier as at best, racist, and at worst,  a war criminal.

A new website, Soldiers Speak Out, gives some of these Israeli soldiers a chance to tell their own stories, and shows what we in Israel already know – that the Israeli soldier is not a monster but, in many cases, a hero.

You can hear Samuel tell about how he escorted a blind Arab to his home in Shchem (Nablus). You can hear Ran explain how he saved a nine year old Arab girl who was being used as “bait” to trap Israeli soldiers. Inon speaks about fighting in Lebanon and finding an old woman screaming in pain, and when he goes to treat her he finds that she is attached to a bomb.

These are just three of the many stories on this website. Please go on over and see, and spread the word.

Great to hear that positive side of Israeli army, but I’m afraid we also heard different stories that were told by the same soldiers. Yes, I’m talking about operation Cast Lead. And what about those shamfull stupid T-shirts IDF got printed? Having said that, some of soldiers are heros, while some are probably (war) criminals.

jizzah – the stories supposedly told about war crimes were investigated and proved to be false.
